Australia’s Best Cars 2014 – Best Light Car – Renault Clio Expression TCe 120

The winner of Australia's Best Cars light car category is the Renault Clio TCe 120 Expression.

The reason it's won is because it's consistent across thewhole operating of a small car.

It suits the class verywell its 1.

2 litre engine with a turbocharger and direct injection delivers anexcellent balance of performance and economy and it has asuperb balance of ride and handling.

The light cars have grown in size but they've also improved a lot in theirgeneral presentation, their safety, their quality and their on-roadability what was the domain of larger cars afew years ago we are now finding in the light car class.

It looks good and it's not just looking good on theoutside but its a very nice presentation on the inside, its comfortable gives a feeling of involvement, the driverfeels part of the the operation.

The Clio won in 2013 its had new competition this year and Iwould say tougher competition but its consistencyacross the whole operating range is what's given it the win again.
