Jobs and the Economy

We Greens, recognize uncontrolled growth as the ideology of the cancer cell. Our Green party race offers voters a chance to return to responsible behavior based on the best understanding of our best minds about the long term consequences of our powerful technologies. The Green party believes that hope and richness can be re-established here at home and around the globe, applying ourselves to creating living wage jobs building economic infrastructures that are environmentally healthy -- such as renewable power generation, mass transit, clustered housing, decentralized economic activity, safe, organically grown food and protected air and water. And we can and must work together with other nations and peoples, starting with the Kyoto accords, to practice self control and to restore the faith others once had in American good will and competency.
